Linguistic Ethnography and Anthropology: An Introduction

This paper introduces a compilation of recent articles on linguistic ethnography and anthropology, and focuses on the intersections where different approaches, theoretical stances and empirical experiences meet. It discusses some developments of the field that are related to concepts of indexicality, heteroglossia, interdiscursivity, enregisterment, as well as to the circulation of discourses.
